TITLE: Plant Integration Engineer – (Agency Contract)

Location: Bellevue, WA, USA (Onsite)
Pay Range: $67–$110/hour

System One is seeking a Plant Integration Engineer to support nuclear plant design and integration efforts in Bellevue, WA. This contract role will focus on the integration, oversight, and coordination of plant systems, structures, and components (SSCs), as well as the development of conceptual plant 3D models to support product development.

In this position, you will work closely with the Plant Design Manager and technical leads, supporting SmartPlant 3D implementation and ensuring plant layout consistency across partner and system deliverables.

Responsibilities

Implement, develop, and maintain SmartPlant 3D model platform.

Develop and apply alternate 3D design tools to support conceptual plant development.

Create and oversee conceptual 3D model arrangements to support product design and customer inquiries.

Coordinate integration between the plant 3D model and other design products (Solidworks models, drawings, specifications, and requirements).

Develop documentation, procedures, and standards for modeling and plant integration.

Collaborate with design groups, system leads, and partner organizations to ensure cross-system consistency.

Provide technical support and oversight of partner and supplier design work products.

Support commercial development team with conceptual design solutions for greenfield sites.

Key Qualifications & Skills

10+ years of design experience with 3D modeling for complex industrial projects (steam/power or nuclear preferred).

Proficiency in 3D plant modeling tools (SmartPlant, AVEVA, or Revit); SmartPlant preferred.

Experience with multi-company workshare environments and model hosting.

Strong project management skills for coordinating model updates and subcontractor oversight.

Skilled communicator with the ability to present 3D model content to senior management, engineers, and customers.

Experience in conceptual design environments and quality standards such as ASME NQA-1 or ISO 9001.
