Job Title: Training Specialist

Primary location of assignment: Thomas F. Farrell II Building

Top 3 Required Skills
1) MUST have experience with CBT/WBT (Computer-Based Training/Web-Based Training) development, Adobe Articulate/Rise experience preferred.
2) MUST have ability to learn complex processes and systems.
3) MUST have experience in training as an instructor

• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
• Ability to develop excellent cross-functional working relationships.

Nice to Have Skills:

High Level Project Overview:
Responsible for developing, designing, and delivering instructional materials to drive change management goals and to enhance learning experiences for large scale program and process changes in the power delivery business. This role requires a blend of instructional design knowledge, technical proficiency, and communication skills to create engaging and effective digital learning experiences.

Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and developing online and in-person courses using instructional design principles and technology.
• Collaborating with subject matter experts to create effective learning content.
• Analyzing and refining existing content to meet evolving learner needs. Including uploading files, tracking learner progress, and maintaining system functionality.
• Utilizing various multimedia tools for effective training and development.
• Use data to identify areas for improvement and report on outcomes to stakeholders.
• Assist learners and internal trainers with issues related to the online learning platforms and course content.
• Experience administering and managing content on a Learning Management System.

Preferred Years of Experience:
• 3-5 years directly related experience with corporate training or adult learning development

Education:
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalency
