We are seeking an Electrical Responsible Engineer (RE) Project Associate to support multidisciplinary teams on nuclear power plant modification projects. This role involves coordinating engineers, designers, project controls, and construction professionals across all project phases—definition, design, procurement, installation, turnover, and closeout. The RE serves as the technical liaison between stakeholders, vendors, and site teams, ensuring safe, on-time, and within-budget project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support project execution from scope definition through closeout.

Serve as primary technical interface between plant stakeholders, engineering organizations, and vendors.

Support design, procurement, and installation efforts, including work order reviews, FAT/SAT participation, and field walkdowns.

Coordinate project schedules, budgets, risk management, and reporting.

Oversee documentation, including drawings, manuals, and testing plans.

Provide technical guidance to staff, ensuring compliance with standards and policies.

Mentor junior engineers and support multidisciplinary project teams.

Qualifications:

ABET-accredited Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.

6+ years of experience in nuclear, industrial, or DOE facility projects.

Proven project management/coordination experience with multidisciplinary teams.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience reviewing design drawings, BOMs, and engineering deliverables.

Familiarity with CAD/3D design and engineering software.

Preferred:

System Engineering, commissioning, or construction experience.

Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office tools.

Training development and mentoring experience.
