Project Managers

Project Manager position requires 10+
years of related experience and an accredited
bachelor's degree. Master's degree is a plus.
Project Management Professional certification
is a plus.

Nuclear power plant experience is a
plus. Job responsibilities include leading the
planning, execution, and closure of electric
utility projects, ensuring they are completed on
time and within budget, collaborating with
clients, engineers, field teams, and
stakeholders to define project objectives and
requirements, developing comprehensive
project plans, including scope, schedule,
budget, quality, and risk management,
establishing and managing project budgets,
including cost estimation, tracking, and
reporting, allocating and managing project
resources effectively, including personnel,
equipment, and materials, monitoring project
progress, identifying deviations, and
implementing corrective actions as needed to
ensure project goals are met, leading project
kick-off meetings, regular progress meetings,
and close-out meetings with all relevant
stakeholders, managing and mitigating project
risks, including technical, schedule, and budget
risks, ensuring project compliance with
electrical codes, standards, safety regulations,
and industry best practices, overseeing the
development and review of project
documentation, such as drawings,
specifications, and reports, coordinating with
procurement teams to source materials and
equipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet
project timelines, leading commissioning and
testing activities, ensuring systems are
operational and meet project requirements,
providing technical expertise to address
engineering and design issues that may arise
during project execution, tracking project
performance and provide regular progress
reports to clients and senior management,
maintaining accurate project records and
documentation, including project files and
change orders, fostering a culture of safety,
quality, and continuous improvement within the
project team, mentoring and providing
guidance to project team members and junior
project managers. Skillsets and expertise
required for this position include experience as
a Project Manager in the electric utility industry,
strong knowledge of electrical systems, utility
infrastructure, and project management
principles, Project Management Professional
(PMP) or equivalent certification is
advantageous, proficiency in project
management software and tools, such as
Microsoft Project or Primavera, excellent
problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and
the ability to work under pressure, exceptional
leadership, communication, and teamwork
skills, strong negotiation and conflict resolution
abilities, familiarity with industry-specific
regulations and permitting processes,
experience managing cross-functional teams
and complex projects, and the ability to build
effective relationships with plant staff, design
