Performance of field installation and calibration, including documentation, of equipment and instruments within the scope of the technical discipline. Duties include timely preparation of appropriate documentation. As a lead discipline technician, provides functional direction and supervision to other discipline technicians on staff. Sets up equipment. Performs equipment calibration. Confirms device set points per design. Performs device loop checks to the Distributed Control System (DCS) per subsystem start-up package. Loads programs in subsystem programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Performs required functional testing of equipment and systems. Verifies equipment installation per design.
