ANR Group Inc is accepting resumes for a Senior Pipe Stress Engineer Located in Ogden, UT.
Initially anticipated to be a one-year assignment with the potential for extension. The hourly rate range for this position is $65-$85 per hour (plus full benefits) with overtime paid at time and ½ for hours worked over 40 in one week. Client allows for reimbursement of mobilization, daily per diem and M&IE, and demobilization.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFIC
Perform pipe stress analysis using AutoPipe. Coordinate with Pipe Support Engineers and Layout personnel as required. #LI-SNH
• Essential duties include performing pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code.
• The stress work includes the modeling of the piping systems to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.
• Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.
• Working knowledge of dynamic analysis and ASME B31.3 or B31.1 Codes.
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard plant design and piping engineering methods, techniques, procedures, and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
• Participates in reviews and recommends approval of design drawings and data for compliance with requirements.
• Analyzes problems with conflicting design requirements, sketches ideas and possible solutions.
• Analyzes and reports on the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques, and/or difficult coordination requirements.
• Coordinates plant design engineering efforts in assigned areas with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, the client, vendor, contractors, construction, and other functional groups.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Level I: Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Level II: Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• EIT certification or PE registration preferred.
• Previous DOD/DOE project experience preferred.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment, education, and travel.
• Working knowledge of dynamic analysis and ASME B31.3 or B31.1 Codes.
• Prior experience using pipe stress analysis program Bentley AutoPipe.
