Technical Nuclear Human Factors Engineer – Remote | 18-Month Contract | System One

System One is hiring a Technical Nuclear Human Factors Engineer to provide expertise in human performance, control room design, and human-system interface for nuclear operations.

Responsibilities:

Apply human factors design principles and NRC/INPO guidelines.

Support control room displays, controls, and alarm system design.

Review and validate human-system interfaces and procedures.

Develop and support training, operations, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications:

BS in Industrial/Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, or related field.

4+ years of nuclear human factors experience.

Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred: M.S./Ph.D., PE license, or NRC Reg Guide 0711 experience.
