Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Areas of responsibility may include the following activities related to electrical system design:
Requirements development
Design specification development
System analysis
Licensing conformance evaluations
Read, interpret and develop electrical diagrams
Perform electrical calculations
Perform vendor selection and vetting

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related engineering discipline from an ABET accredited college or university.
2-5 years of Electrical engineering experience, or equivalent.
Solid working knowledge of Electrical design methods, tools, and regulatory requirements.
Produces clear technical documents and design deliverables with minimal editing.
Communicates effectively with team members and contributes to meetings.
Demonstrates sound judgment on routine engineering problems with supervision.
Organizes workload to meet deadlines; beginning to prioritize tasks independently.
Adapts to changing project requirements and environments.
Collaborates well in multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2-5 years of hands-on Electrical design or support in power generation environments.
Experience contributing to Electrical system design (e.g., on site distribution (AC and DC), off site interfaces (switchyard), grounding and lighting protection, plant lighting systems, battery system design, communications systems, or diesel generators).
Growing familiarity with nuclear regulatory guidance (e.g., NUREG-0800 Ch. 8).
Experience applying relevant codes and standards (IEEE, IEC, EPRI).
Demonstrated ability to perform electrical system design and analysis.
Perform cable routing and associated analysis
