Nuclear Licensing Engineer
Work Location: Remote
Rate: Not Defined / need Candidates requested rate
Duration: 12 months
Hours: Full Time / 40

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating advanced reactor licensing approaches and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of nuclear engineering principles, regulatory frameworks, and licensing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of advanced reactor designs and their compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on the interpretation of regulatory requirements and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in nuclear licensing, regulatory affairs, or related engineering roles.
• In-depth knowledge of nuclear regulatory frameworks, including NRC regulations and guidelines.
• Experience with advanced reactor technologies, including Small Modular Reactors (SMRs)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical information.
