National Inspection and Consultants LLC, (an Element Company) is currently looking for a Lead NUCLEAR Auditor.

As the Nuclear Lead Auditor, your responsibilities will include meticulously planning, leading, executing, and documenting quality audits, assessments, and surveillance activities to ensure strict adherence to regulatory mandates, industry benchmarks, and internal quality assurance protocols within nuclear facilities or projects. Your pivotal role guarantees that all processes, paperwork, and protocols align with the exacting standards essential for nuclear safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
- Holds an Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Assurance, Nuclear Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Demonstrated completion of 5 audits within 3 years, including at least 1 nuclear audit in the previous year.
- Preferably certified as a Lead Auditor according to ANSI/ASME NQA-1 standards or equivalent.
- Proficient in relevant codes and standards like ASME, NQA-1, NRC 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ISO 9001, etc.
- Experience in vendor surveillance, fabrication shop audits, and field QC inspections.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory frameworks in nuclear settings (e.g., NRC, DOE, INPO).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational proficiency.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software/tools.
- Readiness to travel to vendor sites, fabrication shops, and nuclear facilities as necessary.

Working Conditions:
The role encompasses tasks in office settings and industrial environments, including active nuclear construction or operational sites.
Potential exposure to radiation and adherence to stringent safety and security measures.
Periodic travel may be essential.
