Savannah River Nuclear Solutions is looking for (1) Principal Construction Manager

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 13 - 15 years of practical experience in construction. In-depth knowledge of construction, cost and scheduling, subcontract administration and the ability to develop or evaluate construction strategies and techniques. An associate degree and 15 - 17 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 17 - 19 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent.

Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project management and project planning the tactical level would be ideal, along with a knowledge of operations, maintenance, or project startup and construction management and construction subcontracts.

Nice to Have:
- Candidates who have possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years are preferred.
- Experience with large construction projects and working with DOE/NNSA
- Working knowledge of CAD and/or SmartPlant software
- Multifaceted in all construction disciplines

PF-81 Evaluation Criteria:
• Price and Cost to Company: 25%
• Technical Acceptability: 15%
• Technical Acceptability: 40% -Experience with large construction projects and DOE/NNSA
• Technical Acceptability: 20%-Working knowledge of CAD and/or SmartPlant software; Multi-faceted experience in all construction disciplines

Duration of the Contract: One (1) Year with the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year option years in accordance with the attached job title.
• Option Periods are not guaranteed and are executed at the discretion of the hiring manager.
• Yearly options will automatically include a 3.5% escalation.

Estimates Hours Per Year:
2080 ST 350 OT

Anticipated Work Schedule: Mon-Thu 7 am - 5:30 pm
