Civil Design Engineer for 11 month contract in Spring City, TN.

As a Civil Design Specialist, you will develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities. Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products, or equipment when necessary data are insufficient or confirmation by testing is advisable.

Usually performs as a staff advisor and consultant to a technical specialty, a type of facility or equipment, or program function. Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and fields.

Will make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods and represent the organization in conferences to receive important questions, plan and coordinate work.
Requires use of advanced techniques and the modifications and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of the field and related sciences and disciplines.

Required: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or other related Engineering degree from an accredited Curriculum plus continuing education. Licensed Professional Engineer Desired. Masters Degree desired.
Looking for prior Nuclear experienced candidates.
