Nuclear Project Manager – SMR Product Development

About the Role

Lead innovative projects advancing Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology from design through fabrication and deployment.
You’ll manage complex, first-of-a-kind (FOAK) programs with multiyear scope, high technical risk, and significant commercial value.
This role focuses on Product Realization, collaborating across departments to meet cost, schedule, quality, and customer value objectives.

What You’ll Do

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of assigned SMR projects.

Develop and maintain project baselines, earned value metrics, and Project Management Plans.

Coordinate with engineering, design, and operations teams to align priorities.

Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues proactively.

Provide performance, cost, and schedule reports to key stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with quality standards, ASME codes, and nuclear regulations.

What You Bring

10+ years of project management experience in the nuclear, energy, A/E, or EPC sectors.

Direct experience with Nuclear Pressure Vessel or ASME BPVC Section III design.

Proven leadership on licensed nuclear design projects.

Strong knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) systems.

Expertise in Earned Value Management (ANSI EIA-748-C) practices.

PMP certification preferred.

Eligible under DOE 10 CFR Part 810 export regulations.
