Job Description
** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Controls Engineer SR to fill a three- year assignment in the Waynesboro, GA area.
This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Rates: $70.00 - $74.00 per hour
Citizenship required.
Per diem is available if you qualify

Required PPE:
Industrial and office environment.
To perform walkdowns in plant will require hardhat, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, and sturdy shoes at minimum.

Requirements:
10+ Years Experience in design required
An accredited bachelors degree in engineering

Required skillsets and expertise:
Prior nuclear and design experience is strongly desired
Solid electrical knowledge
Experience with control narrative
Experience reading electrical/controls
Experience with checking cables and wiring in the field
Experience with cost estimating drawings
Experience developing IO lists.
This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, decision making skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff and/or vendors

Responsibilities:
Serve as the Responsible Design Engineer and Responsible Lead Engineer for assigned design changes
Provide technical oversight of design products
Serve as the primary design engineer interface between all other engineering disciplines, vendors, and stakeholders
Perform and assist on-site walk downs
Support SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)
Support preparation of cost estimates and scoping
