Drive development of engineering change packages, design deliverables, procurement specifications, and construction work packages in coordination with engineering and field teams.
Oversee contractor mobilization activities, equipment staging, construction execution, system walkdowns, testing, and turnover.
Project Controls & Performance Management
Build and baseline integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring logical sequencing and resource planning for all engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, accruals, cost tracking, and variance analysis; ensure projects stay within approved cost and schedule targets.
Conduct detailed risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for critical path activities, outage interfaces, and regulatory-sensitive milestones.
Prepare detailed performance reports, milestone updates, and communication packages for senior leadership.
Cross-Functional & Regulatory Coordination
Serve as the primary liaison between project engineering, maintenance, operations, regulatory affairs, project controls, procurement, and contractor teams.
Support development and coordination of outage work scope associated with major modifications, ensuring alignment with plant priorities and outage windows.
Ensure all project deliverables adhere to NRC, INPO, and site configuration control requirements.
Lead project meetings, design reviews, modification board presentations, and readiness assessments.
Vendor, Contract, & Procurement Oversight
Review contractor proposals, support bid evaluations, negotiate contract terms, and manage supplier performance throughout project execution.
Oversee material procurement, lead times, quality verifications, and delivery schedules to avoid construction delays.
Ensure all contracted work meets safety, technical, and quality standards, as well as site-specific procedures.
