Contracts Manager
Work Location: Full Time on Site in New Mexico
Duration: Long Term
Rate: is open and non-exempt
Hours: Full time / 40+ hours per week (onsite)
Per diem: $178.00/day (7 days per week)
Mob / Demob: GSA Expenses
Trip Home: 1 paid trip home per month
US Citizenship Required

Responsibilities
The Contracts Manager is responsible for ensuring consistent standards in contract management across the company's project portfolio. This role involves overseeing contract management output, reviewing payments and contractor performance, and providing expert consulting and advice. The Contracts Manager will also be accountable for developing and maintaining Client's processes and procedures for effective contract management.
• Ensure adequate and consistent standards in contract management for Client 's project portfolio.
• Review payments and contractor performance as a key element of the role.
• Provide subject matter expert consulting, advice, and instruction on contract management.
• Develop and maintain Client 's processes and procedures for contract management.
• Manage construction claims and analyze organizational requirements for contract management processes.
• Implement strategies that align project delivery with business objectives such as safety, budget, and cost.
• Track benefits realization and lessons learned to improve contracting processes.
• Prepare amendments and change orders to contracts, and analyze contractor claims.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, supply chain, business administration, construction or related fields.
• 10 years' experience in negotiations, procurement, and contract management, particularly in engineering and construction services.
• Demonstrable experience working within the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to hand-over.

Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management and negotiations.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulations (DEAR).
• Demonstrable success in arbitration, litigation, or adjudication.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to work with minimum supervision
