Spectra Tech has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN.

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support design for a new nuclear facility.

Candidate will be responsible for providing design and calculations of power distribution for the facility.  Will also work with designers in order for them to produce final designs.  Work will entail bringing power distribution into the facility and dispersing throughout the building.  Candidate will be responsible for reviewing electrical design drawings and specifications related to lighting system, lighting controls system, power system, power distribution, and lighting protection system for the facility.

Qualifications:

·       B.S. degree in Engineering discipline is required

·       Minimum of 10 years of relevant electrical engineering experience is required.

·       PE License preferred (but not required)

·       Working knowledge and familiarity of NFPA 70 is desired.

·       Must have experience working with nuclear facilities.

·       Must have knowledge of project engineering activities

·       Must be a U.S. Citizen

·       Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

UF6 or centrifuge facility design experience highly desired
