About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support a major Security Computer Replacement Project at their Oak Harbor, OH location. This role is fully on-site and ideal for road techs or project-focused engineers with strong coordination, documentation, and technical oversight experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support project planning, execution, and engineering coordination for the Security Computer Replacement initiative.
Review engineering and design change documents for accuracy, completeness, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Oversee technical interfaces related to the security computer, power supply systems, backup diesel systems, and supporting equipment.
Assist with instrumentation system installation plans, integration, testing, and verification activities.
Maintain project schedules, track progress, and communicate updates to engineering and operations leadership.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Electrical Engineering, IT/Security, Operations, and Quality.
Ensure deliverables meet project standards, regulatory expectations, and site procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related field).
Experience supporting engineering projects in industrial, utility, nuclear, or security environments (preferred).
Ability to review and interpret engineering change packages and technical documentation.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to commit to on-site work for the full 12-18 month assignment.
