This position will require EPRI AP3 certification. If you do not currently possess this qual, but are willing to attain it, paid classroom/practical training will be provided to you and the facilitation of the requisite testing in the 3 weeks leading up to the start of this assignment. Paid training time will only be remitted upon successful achievement of the AP3 certification and commitment to complete the duration of the work assignment.

Sr. RP Technician duties include those usual and customary for an active decommissioning project. As you are aware, TMI-2 is a unique and complex D&D project, with higher dose and less commonly experienced constituents.

General D&D Sr. RP Technician duties for a job coverage on D&D project include but are not limited to the following:
Operation of Survey Instruments and Count Rate Meter
Perform Radiation and Contamination Surveys
Perform Airborne Radioactivity Surveys
Radioactive Material Movement and Storage
Radiological Posting / Deposting
Respond to Radiological Alarms
Operate Continuous Air Monitors (CAMS)
Provide Radiological Job Coverage
Provide High Risk Job Coverage
Direct and/or Perform Area and Equipment Decontamination
Survey Material for Unconditional Release
Personnel Decontamination
Monitor and Coach Workers in the RCA
Operation of HEPA Vacuum and/or Vent Equipment

Total Compensation Rate:
$45.35/hour ST
$68.03/hour OT
Per Diem: $160.00/day when eligible to work
Mob/Demob: Actual and reasonable expenses, not to exceed $1,000.00 with receipts (demob provided upon successful completion of the assignment)
