We’re seeking an experienced Strategic Planning & Risk Analyst to support enterprise risk management and strategic planning initiatives for a major nuclear energy organization. This role works across all business units to evaluate risks, improve internal controls, and support key operational and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain enterprise risk policies, procedures, and risk registers
Conduct risk assessments, audits, and control evaluations
Analyze data, track mitigation actions, and prepare executive-level reports
Support business units with risk methodologies, tools, and strategic planning
Coordinate with executive audit teams and maintain regulatory documentation
Deliver training and promote a strong risk management culture
Support the biennial nuclear refueling outage
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree + 7 years in Risk, Audit, Strategy, or Business
(OR AA + 9 years, OR HS/GED + 11 years)
Experience in energy or nuclear business processes (operations, work management, finance, project mgmt., audit, etc.)
Familiarity with risk tools/software (Safran preferred)
Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and presentation skills

A proactive, detail-oriented risk professional with strong analytical abilities, the confidence to present to executives, and experience working in energy, utilities, or nuclear environments.
