Rates: $70.00- $75.00 per hour
Per diem is available if you qualify
US Citizen Required.
PPE: Hard hat, gloves, ear protection, eye protection, steel toe boots/shoes
Qualifications:
The SR Structural Engineer 1 position requires 10+ years heavy industrial/power plant experience and an accredited bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering.
Job responsibilities:
Include providing structural engineering services and producing and checking structural steel design calculations and drawings.
Skill Sets & Expertise:
Include detailed knowledge of structural steel design principles and industry methodologies, significant structural steel connection design experience
Proficiency with structural codes and standards
Extensive knowledge of heavy industrial structures and components
Strong computer skills
Proficiency with structural computer programs such as STAAD PRO.

This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.
