Short Summary about Job:

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to provide professional technical support services for nuclear operations and facilities. This position requires expertise in systems engineering, analysis, and documentation with a focus on nuclear safety and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will support various engineering disciplines including facility safety, nuclear criticality safety, and systems analysis.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Engineering or related technical field
Level 2: 2 years experience: 47.76/hr
Level 3: 5 years experience: 61.14/hr
Level 4: 10 years experience: 75.70/hr
Level 5: 15 years experience: 87.33/hr
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance (L or Q clearance)

Preferred Qualifications

Active L or Q security clearance
Experience with DOE or nuclear facility operations
Knowledge of nuclear safety analysis, criticality safety, or facility safety systems
Familiarity with engineering design, testing, and quality control processes
Experience with technical documentation and reporting

Miscellaneous/Additional Information:

Work schedule: Full-time, on-site or hybrid as determined by project needs
Occasional business travel may be required
Position may require Human Reliability Program (HRP) qualification
Must be able to pass drug screening and maintain a drug-free workplace
