Mechanical Technician
Work Location: Hawthorne, CA 90250
Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate's requested rate
Duration: 6 months+ with the possibility of going direct
Hours: Full Time / 40 hrs +

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician with a strong background in process or chemical plant operations. Support the efficient and safe operation of high-pressure gas systems, piping, and vessels. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex water systems and pump operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Support the maintenance and operation of high-pressure gas systems, piping, and vessels.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Support Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Required Skills:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a process or chemical plant environment.
• Knowledge of high-pressure gas systems and their maintenance.
• Experience with piping and vessel operations.
• Expertise in water systems management, including pumps and circulators.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems down to the component level.
