Mechanical Maintenance Planner

U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities:
ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR SIGNIFICANT WORK COMPONENTS WITHIN LARGE PROJECTS.
WRITES/REVIEWS MAINTENANCE AND MODIFICATION WORK ORDERS.
PROVIDES TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO CRAFT PERSONNEL.
DETERMINES REQUIRED RESOURCES, INVESTIGATES EQUIPMENT TO WORK ON, BOTH IN THE FIELD AND ON PAPER, AND REVIEWS DRAWINGS, VENDOR MANUALS, AND PROCEDURES.
COORDINATES SCOPE AND DETAIL OF WORK ASSIGNMENTS, INCLUDING SAFETY CONCERNS, CLEARANCES, PLANT INSTRUCTIONS, REQUIRED PARTS, AND NECESSARY LIMITATIONS TO ENSURE SMOOTH FLOW OF JOB ACTIVITIES.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: MAY SUPERVISE, COORDINATE, AND REVIEW THE WORK OF OTHER SPECIALISTS AND CRAFT.

Education / Experience:
Associate or bachelors degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or similar field.
5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance (preferably in the nuclear power generation industry).
Demonstrated knowledge of plant components, systems, plant operations and maintenance, work management methods and the work management system is required.
