Project Director Automation & Control

We are seeking an experienced professional for a 12-month contract. This opportunity is a remote role with travel required. Offers a competitive hourly rate between $100-$120/hr.

Are you ready to lead a groundbreaking project in the energy sector? We are seeking an experienced and visionary Project Director Automation & Control for a contract role based in Amarillo, Texas.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of C3F.
- Develop comprehensive control system architectures integrating DCS, SCADA, BMS, OT/IT systems.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams while coordinating EPCs/OEMs/system integrators/technology partners.
- Manage integration testing through commissioning phases ensuring readiness for operations.
- Ensure secure monitoring/control across gas-fired/nuclear/hybrid cooling/grid/cybersecurity infrastructures.
- Implement AI-ready data structures supporting advanced decision-making analytics capabilities
while maintaining safety-compliance keeping regulators / stakeholders informed transparently on cost-schedule-performance status metrics.
