[Electrical Designer] MCFR Electrical Designer- Remote

System One is seeking an experienced MCFR Electrical Designer to support advanced nuclear and industrial design projects. This role will generate and maintain plant electrical designs and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD Electrical, while collaborating with system engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop plant layouts and electrical models (cable trays, conduits, cabinets, junction boxes, instrumentation).

Create wiring schematics, panel layouts, loop diagrams, and single line diagrams (SLDs).

Maintain configuration control of models and drawings.

Support cable, tray, and conduit schedules and electrical load lists.

Collaborate on P&IDs, BFDs, and equipment mounting details.

Generate equipment lists, line lists, and BOMs from Plant 3D.

Review drawings for accuracy and standards compliance.

Use Navisworks for model review and coordination.

Apply NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and applicable state codes.

Qualifications

Trade School or Associate’s degree.

6+ years (Level 10) or 10+ years (Level 11) of relevant design experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks; AutoCAD Electrical preferred.

Experience with plant layout, P&IDs, wiring and single line diagrams.

Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
