Job Description / Desired Qualifications:
• The Instrumentation Engineer SR position requires 8+ years of related experience along with an accredited bachelor’s engineering degree.
• Job responsibilities are to serve as the Responsible Design Engineer and Responsible Lead Engineer for assigned design changes. This includes providing technical oversight of design products (I&C drawings, calculations, and other documentation), be the primary design engineer interface between all other engineering disciplines, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Perform and assist in Site walk downs, supporting SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), support preparation of cost estimates and scoping.

Skillsets and expertise required:
• Solid electrical knowledge.
• Experience reading electrical/controls drawings.
• Experience with checking cables and wiring in the field.
• Experience with cost estimating.
• Managing mid-size to large scale projects from the engineering deliverables perspective.
• This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, decision making skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff and/or vendors.
• Travel may be required for FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and project related meetings.
• No specific qualifications are required.
• Strongly desired that individual has prior nuclear and design experience.
