Contract / Administrative Coordinator

Client: Semco Maritime
Work Location: Onsite in Norfolk, VA
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP (within 1-2 weeks preferred)
Pay Rate: Not defined - please provide your requested rate
Per Diem: Local candidates preferred; per diem of $178/day available for qualified non-local candidates

Duration: 6+ months with potential for extension
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Contract / Administrative Coordinator.
This role is of Senior Contract Coordinator and Senior Administrative functions, responsible for supporting project leadership through detailed tracking, coordination, and compliance management of union workforce activities.
The position is critical to ensuring accurate timekeeping, record management, training compliance, rotation scheduling, and cost/schedule tracking for union labor on this major offshore project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Track and maintain union labor hours, rotations, pay, and training records
• Monitor and record daily union activities, including attendance, schedules, and certifications
• Ensure contract compliance across labor, cost, and scheduling obligations
• Maintain and audit financial records and billing data related to union labor
• Support reporting to management teams with weekly updates and non-compliance reporting
• Communicate regularly with management to identify discrepancies and help resolve issues related to union coordination, training, or documentation
• Assist with other administrative or coordination duties as required to support the project
Requirements:
• Strong background in recordkeeping, coordination, and administrative management within construction or industrial projects
• Prior experience with union labor tracking or project coordination preferred
• Solid understanding of labor compliance, cost reporting, and scheduling
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
• Proficient with Excel, data entry, and reporting tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment
