Operations Trainer/Instructor - ARIZONA

We are seeking a Trainer/Instructor for a one year contract (possible longer) at a Nuclear Plant in Tonopah, AZ.

We offer PD + mob/demob + PTO + Holidays + Sick time + group insurance + the work schedule is Tuesday-Friday 4-10's

Must have at least 10 years of experience as a Trainer Instructor with Operations Plant modification experience

Must have recent Commercial Nuclear background.

Must have a BS degree

Job Overview

Role: Addresses the needs of our customers by focusing specifically on plant modifications as they are scoped, developed, installed, and embedded into training programs. Must be knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process and have a working knowledge of the Analysis and Design phases.

Customer Prioritization: Focus should be placed on the needs of accredited training programs first, the needs of the simulator second and lastly on the needs of non-accredited training programs.

Day-to-Day: Partner with the Simulator Section Leader (SL) to support departmental stakeholders. Maintains a departmental perspective with plant modifications to ensure the needs of all accredited training programs are scoped into the modification process and needs are fully addressed.

� Partners with Instructors to complete Training Needs Analyses.

� Advocates for meaningful Post Training Evaluation PTE methodologies and shares best practices.

� Works with Training Section Leaders to identify project specific owners (instructors), as needed.

� Works closely with the Simulator Engineers to ensure simulator specific needs are incorporated into the modification process.

� Attends pertinent modification meetings

� Attends program oversight committee meetings

� Develops and maintains a departmental dashboard to communicate modifications design progression, timelines for installation, TNA completion, TNA tracking actions completion.

� Partners with the stakeholders to establish program specific needs for laboratory upgrades.

� Perform end of outage modification installation assessments. Provides end of outage rollups to the training program leaders and the Simulator Engineering team.

� Coordinates with the Simulator SL to provide departmental coverage as the Training Department quorum member for periodic modification meetings.

� Develops plant modification overview documents, as required, for accreditation submittal to INPO.

� Provide modification summaries and insights at working meetings.
