Task Project Manager
Project: Supporting outage activities at a nuclear power plant, involving tasks for the Pipe Coding Repair project.
Start: ASAP
Estimated End Date: April 2026
Duration of Work Assignment: Average work week expected to be 84 hours/week during outage. Pre or post outage work expected to be 40-50 hours/week.
Pay Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate's requested rate
Per Diem: GSA rate - $178/day
Mob / Demob: $500 each ($1,000 total)

US Citizen Required (Due to the nature of work, candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States)
The Task Project Manager will be the direct interface between engineering/project management groups and field activities supporting the Pipe Coding Repair project. Key responsibilities include: Planning, coordinating, and directing field installation, maintenance, repair, and modification tasks from scoping through execution and closeout; Developing and managing task-level schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and work packages to meet project milestones; Enforcing safety protocols, quality standards, and procedural adherence; Monitoring progress, resolving issues, managing changes, and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks, delays, or cost overruns; Coordinating with engineering, planning, procurement, and site operations teams to align field work with overall project goals.
Education/Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience managing field construction, installation, maintenance, or modification projects in a commercial nuclear setting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements: This individual hired for this role must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time, have good visual acuity and attention to detail, and mobility for site walkdowns, which might include climbing stairs or ladders, entering confined spaces or elevated spaces, and walking/standing on uneven surfaces or industrial environments. Work shifts are expected to be long (12 hours/day during outage).
