Qualifications

Education
Relevant certifications: CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, CHMM, CPP, or equivalent.

Experience
10–15+ years of progressive HSSE leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Experience in high-risk industries (energy, construction, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, chemicals, etc.) preferred.
Demonstrated experience building HSSE programs
Demonstrated experience in leading cultural safety integration.

Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS, ISO standards, and other regulatory frameworks.
Ability to implement systems, develop forms and procedures, and other necessary “nuts and bolts” tasks necessary to develop a functioning program.
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and risk management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
