Job Title: REMOTE Engineering Project Coordinator
Long term Contract
Pay Range: $52 – $85 per hour

Position Overview
System One is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering design activities. This role serves as a key interface between multiple engineering teams, ensuring alignment of project schedules, staffing needs, and technical deliverables. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers and project controls to support effective project execution, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers by monitoring progress, tracking key performance metrics, and generating status reports while ensuring adherence to project management standards.
Coordinate daily and weekly interfaces across multiple engineering teams to support execution of project activities and milestones.
Develop and maintain detailed schedules for technical work execution, including subtask breakdowns and logic sequencing.
Analyze project data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Manage schedule updates and coordinate change approval processes with project controls organizations.
Track engineering resource assignments, forecast staffing needs, and support resource leveling activities.
Gather and consolidate status updates from design teams and communicate project performance to leadership.
Support development and refinement of standard engineering activity sequences for future project phases.
Assist in identifying schedule conflicts, resource constraints, and project risks, and support resolution efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of 4 years of project coordination or project management experience. Engineering or nuclear industry experience preferred.
Strong experience in schedule development, project reporting, and resource forecasting.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to interpret data trends and support decision-making.
Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and support cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification strongly preferred.
Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Knowledge of NRC 10 CFR 50 licensing processes is a plus.
