Job Title: Project Manager – Nuclear Capital & License Extension
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Contract Duration: 12- Months
Compensation: $73.00/HR
Work Model: Onsite (GSA Per Diem for qualified candidates)

Project Manager role involves work at corporate. The role includes solidifying long-term plans, enhancing project estimates, deploying individuals to projects, and managing license extensions from 60 to 80 years. The candidate will take on capital work and depreciate assets.

Responsibilities:
Managing license extensions from 60 to 80 years.
Manage capital work and depreciate assets.
Typical day is site-based and involves coordination with stakeholders, interfacing with the maintenance organization and engineering department, and implementing projects.
Tasks include weekly meetings, coordination, sourcing vendors, contract initiation and management, monitoring financials, escalating concerns, adhering to scope, schedule, and budget, risk management, and presenting to gain approvals for authorization.
Role also involves field/plant observation and working with internal stakeholders.
Position supports a large team of 32 people under JD, including the maintenance organization, engineering department, controls group, finance organization, senior leaders, internal supply department, and external vendors.

Requirements:
7 years of cradle-to-grave project management experience, experience managing projects of at least $1 million, and a nuclear background is strongly preferred.
Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background is preferred, as well as civil or construction experience. ABET accreditation is desirable.
Finance background is also beneficial.
Ex-Navy (submarine/navy) nuclear experience is preferred if no commercial experience.
Previous experience with SAP, Unifier, UKG Workday, MS Project, and P6/Primavera is helpful.
PMP certification is strongly preferred but not required.
SRO certification or license from a plant knowledge perspective is also beneficial.
