Job Title: Project Control Specialist

Duration: (1) year with the option to extend for (2) additional (1) year option years. Option periods are not guaranteed and are executed at the discretion of the hiring manager.

Location: 100% Onsite. Local candidates or willing to relocate at the candidate's expense.

Summary:
HukariAscendent is seeking a skilled Project Control Specialist to support a Department of Energy (DOE) site. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the organization, development, implementation, maintenance, and accountability of total project controls, financial analysis, and estimating applications. This role is designed to provide management with the capability to maintain planning, scheduling, financial analysis, and cost control throughout the life cycle of complex projects.

Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Master's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related area with 8 years of practical experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related area with 10 years of practical experience.
Associate's degree with 13 years of practical experience.
High school diploma with 17 years of relevant experience.
Top Skills:
Strong personal computer skills.
Expert proficiency in the use of automated accounting, cost management, scheduling, and estimating systems.
Considerable practical experience in the use of Site Business systems.
Security Clearance:
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance. An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
Active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years.
Working knowledge of Ideagen/DevonWay iCAS EPS and Issues Management and related modules.
Experience reviewing/approving Level I and Level II Purchase Requisitions.
BS in Engineering or Business Administration.
