Senior Nuclear Controls Engineer – Hybrid/Remote

Supporting a next-generation nuclear plant equipment design project.

We’re seeking a highly experienced Controls Engineer to support design and development of nuclear DI&C, protection, and monitoring systems.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Computer, Chemical Engineering (or related)

15+ years of industry controls experience

7+ years designing and implementing DI&C systems in nuclear power, fuel manufacturing, or test facilities

Experience with Mark VIe DCS, CIMPLICITY HMI, Siemens S7 PLC, or similar safety-class systems

Strong background in system architecture, V&V, documentation, and regulatory compliance

Responsibilities:

Design and develop nuclear control & monitoring systems (hardware + software)

Support DCS configuration, HMI development, network architecture

Lead documentation (SDDs, I/O lists, V&V plans, etc.)

Interface with cross-functional engineering and project teams

Hybrid schedule with limited onsite (~10%). GSA per diem available when onsite.
