C.A. Murren is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) across all business units and projects. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure compliance with ASME NQA-1, DOE Orders, 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, contractual quality requirements, applicable federal regulations, and the C.A. Murren Quality Program.

This position serves as the corporate authority on quality assurance and quality control, reporting directly to executive leadership (CEO/President) and ensuring consistent governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across heavy civil, industrial, power, and nuclear-related projects.

The position will be located at SRS in Aiken, SC.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and maintain the Corporate Quality Assurance Manual (QAM) and supporting procedures.
• Serve as subject matter expert for NQA-1 and DOE quality requirements.
• Report directly to executive leadership on quality metrics, audit results, and risk assessments.
• Oversee internal/external audits, assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Ensure alignment of site-level quality programs with corporate standards.
• Direct supplier qualification, audits, and NQA-1 compliant procurement oversight.
• Manage corrective actions, nonconformances, and root cause analysis programs.
• Establish corporate quality objectives, KPIs, and governance protocols.
• Mentor and develop quality personnel across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a strong quality culture.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Physical Sciences, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 6+ years of Quality Management experience in heavy civil or industrial construction required.
• Nuclear/DOE quality experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1, DOE O 414.1D, and 10 CFR 830.
• Experience leading quality systems, audits, and supplier quality programs.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• ASQ certifications (CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE) preferred.

Candidates with strong manufacturing or plant Quality Manager experience and ISO-based quality system leadership will also be considered.
