We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead complex construction and infrastructure projects across utility, industrial, and energy environments. This role is responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from planning and engineering coordination through construction execution and project closeout—while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will bring experience managing large-scale capital projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and working closely with engineering, procurement, and construction partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, development, and execution of large capital construction projects across utility, industrial, or infrastructure environments.
Manage project scope, budget, scheduling, and risk mitigation to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with engineering, project controls, procurement, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timelines, safety standards, and performance metrics are met.
Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates on schedule, cost, and project progress.
Ensure construction activities align with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Track project financials, manage budgets, and support capital project approval and funding documentation.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of project management experience within construction, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial environments.
Experience managing multimillion-dollar capital projects.
Strong experience coordinating engineering, construction, procurement, and scheduling teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with project schedules, budgets, and project controls.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting utility infrastructure, power generation, renewable energy, or data center construction projects.
Experience managing substation, transmission, or industrial facility construction.
Military leadership experience or technical leadership background.
PMP or similar project management certification.
