Receipt Inspectors
Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree PREFERRED or no less than the following experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable: 15+ years of relevant nuclear experience in areas such as quality, materials, warehousing, maintenance, project management, etc., AND at least 5 years of established performance as an ANSI Level II inspector in the materials discipline.
Project: Palisades Nuclear Power Plant restart, maintenance, and repairs.
Work Location: Palisades Nuclear Power Plant - Covert, MI
Rate: Not Defined / need Candidate's requested rate
Per Diem: $130.00/day (7 days per week)

Seeking a Receipt Inspector to perform inspections on incoming materials, items, and components to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements, specifications, and any special instructions. This role is essential to maintaining quality standards and supporting production readiness through accurate and timely inspections.
Responsibilities:
• Perform receipt inspections of incoming materials, components, and items against purchase order and specification requirements.
• Verify material certifications, to confirm traceability.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with quality procedures.
• Identify and report nonconforming items and support resolution activities.
• Participate in internal audits and external vendor surveillances.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, NQA-1, ISO).
• Support calibration verification and control of inspection equipment.
• Communicate inspection findings effectively with quality, engineering, and procurement teams.
• Performing warehousing functions as required.
Minimum Qualifications
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Five (5) years of relevant nuclear experience in quality, warehousing, accounting, materials, contracts, maintenance, project management and engineering.
• Qualified/Certified ANSI N45.2.6 Level I, II or III.
• Minimum of one (1) year of established performance as an ANSI Level II inspector in the materials discipline.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, specifications, and material certifications.
• Knowledge of Inventory and Material Control software systems.
• Applied MRO materials experience by discipline, craft, and manufacturer.
• Knowledge of nuclear and other regulatory quality requirements.
• Ability to effectively work and communicate with others in the organization including good oral and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 - 60 lbs.
