Job Title: Nuclear Engineer V, Mechanical
Location: Nuclear Plants, Ohio
Type: Long term Contract
Compensation: $115.00 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite, per diem is $178 a day. 

What You’ll Do

Apply deep expertise in PWR/BWR systems (primary + secondary).
Lead feasibility studies, reliability improvements, and system upgrades.
Own calculations, designs, and modification packages for safety & quality reviews.
Collaborate with project teams + vendors to improve performance & reliability.
Ensure compliance with NRC regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Review designs/drawings from other engineers.
Deliver client presentations and engage in review boards.
Perform field walkdowns (ladders, confined spaces, secure areas).

What You Need

BS Mechanical Engineering (ABET).
15+ years experience, including 8+ in commercial nuclear.
Strong background in PWR/BWR design & operation.
Proficient in Mathcad, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent communication + time management skills.
Able to pass security + drug screenings and maintain unescorted access.
Willing to travel and work onsite.
Comfortable working in industrial plant environments.
