location: Palo Verde Nuclear Generation Station Arizona
Pay rate: $70-$100 based off experience
Per diem: $840 a week based off location
Duration: Long term contract

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of construction management principles, project scheduling, and site coordination. This role demands exceptional organizational abilities, technical expertise, and leadership qualities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. The Construction Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, driving project success through effective communication and strategic planning.

Duties

Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation utilizing construction management software such as Primavera P6.
Coordinate all phases of construction projects by collaborating with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project specifications and compliance with design intent.
Monitor project progress through regular site visits and updates; adjust schedules proactively to address delays or unforeseen issues.
Manage procurement processes by preparing estimates using construction estimating techniques and ensuring timely acquisition of materials.
Oversee contract administration, including review of contractual obligations, change orders, and compliance documentation.
Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, and construction site experience to facilitate efficient communication and documentation.
Lead project meetings to track milestones, resolve conflicts, and maintain alignment among all stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.
Manage project documentation meticulously to support audits, billing cycles, and client reporting.
Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Experience

Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects with demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
Extensive experience with construction site operations including site supervision and safety management.
Proficiency in construction management software such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and project scheduling.
Familiarity with heavy civil projects or infrastructure development is advantageous.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
Demonstrated leadership in project coordination among diverse teams including clients, subcontractors, and internal staff.
Knowledge of construction estimating processes combined with practical experience in cost control measures.
