ANR Group Inc is accepting resumes for a Mechanical Planner III, Nuclear Located in Richland, WA.
The hourly rate range for this position is $58-$75 per hour (plus full benefits). This position is initially expected to be a one year assignment, and does qualify for per diem.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK – SPECIFIC

Plan and prepare Mechanical work packages for the Nuclear Projects organization for large- and small-scale projects to be performed by Mechanical and contract maintenance organizations to ensure that the plant projects are performed in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable codes and standards
• Manage work activities of maintenance craft through planning, leading, and monitoring to ensure that work is executed in an efficient and safe manner. This includes all aspects of physical plant work including work package preparation, parts procurement, ALARA briefings, clearance order walk downs, work prioritizing, resource loading and work execution, including resolution of schedule delays and conflicts.
• Prepare for scheduled and emergent work. This is accomplished through interface with planning personnel, evaluating adequacy of work instructions by paper review and physical plant walk downs, resource loading work in accordance with available manpower and qualifications, reviewing schedules for adverse impacts such as availability of test equipment and parts, and staging the job site to ensure timeliness of work completion.
• Implement work efficiently and effectively. This is accomplished through pre and post job briefs, supervising work in progress, providing coaching and feedback on individual and crew performance, and monitoring work to ensure it is conducted in accordance with procedures and management expectations. These expectations include good ALARA performance, nuclear and personnel safety, the use of proper communication and performance techniques, error free quality work, and adherence to procedures. This is measured through a routine of observing and assessing work sites to assure that problems and coordination issues are being resolved in the field in a timely manner to maximize work crew field time on the job.
• Review of work documentation prior to the close out of work package(s) to ensure accuracy and completeness and that the work objectives have been met.
• Establish and monitor individual performance and training plans for crewmembers and provide critical feedback on a situational and periodic basis.
• Monitor performance through maintenance indicators and take action as appropriate to continuously improve work process efficiencies. Specific accountabilities with measurable performance indicators include human performance, work order back log relative to discipline, daily and weekly schedule effectiveness, preventative maintenance back log, maintenance productivity, dose associated with work activities, and surveillance procedure completion.
• Assure proper training of assigned personnel through the observation, evaluation, and feedback of training classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job training and evaluation activities.
• Provide training as a classroom instructor on a minimum of two subject matters.
• Position may require periodic assignment to Training as an instructor.
• Emergency response organization support as required and collateral duties (i.e. Procedure Reviews) as well.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• A bachelors degree from accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, Maintenance Planning).
• Or An associates degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).
• Or A high school diploma or GED and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program for maintenance related work and six years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).
• Or A high school diploma or GED and ten years of experience in a technical area (i.e. maintenance, engineering, operations, maintenance planning).
• Educational experience from an accredited college or university will be considered year for year in exchange for work experience in a technical area.

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

• Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Strong computer skills.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
• Able to obtain Planner I qualification.
• Working knowledge of:
o Nuclear power plant work management and planning process.
o Safety regulations associated with a power plant environment.
o ALARA requirements.
o Nuclear Security operations, regulations, and requirements
