Construction Manager
Must have prior commercial nuclear experience and preferably prior turbine experience.

Work Locations: TN or AL
Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant – Decatur, AL
Sequoyah Nuclear Plant - Soddy Daisy, TN
Watts Bar Nuclear Plant – Spring City, TN
TVA Fleet Center – Georgetown,, TN

Estimated Duration: TBD
TVA Per Diem: $1,500 / month

Project Details: Multi-year capital project encompassing planning, field execution, and reporting across generation and turbine improvement initiatives at a given Nuclear power plant. The Construction Manager will maintain an active field presence, represent construction status in daily outage meetings, and drive schedule performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate construction activities across assigned work packages in the field
• Attend and report construction status at outage meetings; identify and communicate schedule risks
• Monitor work progress and quality to ensure adherence to project schedules and specifications
• Enforce compliance with nuclear safety standards, QA requirements, and site procedures
• Conduct pre-job briefs, field walkdowns, and post-job critiques
• Coordinate with subcontractors, craft labor, engineering, and project stakeholders
• Maintain accurate field records including daily reports, punch lists, and turnover packages
• Communicate proactively with client representatives on project status, issues, and impacts to schedule or budget

Requirements:
• 7+ years of construction management experience on commercial nuclear projects
• Strong knowledge of nuclear industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access at a nuclear facility
• Must be available for extended shifts during outage windows as required

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior TVA site experience (Watts Bar, Browns Ferry, Sequoyah)
• Turbine outage field experience
• Project management experience; PMP a plus
• Experience with outage planning tools and scheduling platforms (Primavera P6)
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of climbing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of daily job responsibilities. Ability to lift a minimum of 35 - 60 lbs.
