Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer - Los Alamos National Laboratory (Full-Time, Los Alamos, NM)
Responsibilities
Lead development and continuous improvement of quality programs, processes, and procedures.
Guide cross-functional teams to enhance systems supporting quality objectives.
Serve as a subject matter expert, solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
Influence organizational strategy, future technologies, and long-term goals.
Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Provide consultative support on high-impact initiatives and process optimization efforts.
Analyze complex data to support decision-making and performance improvement.
Operate independently with high accountability and autonomy.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or related field with 12+ years of experience (or equivalent experience).
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government clearance.
Expertise in quality program development and complex problem-solving.
Strong analytical, strategic, and decision-making skills.
Experience influencing strategy and collaborating across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma).
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in regulated or technical environments (e.g., lab, manufacturing, government).
