HVAC / Fire Sprinkler Systems Designer - Y-12 National Security Complex (Full-Time, Oak Ridge, TN)

Responsibilities

Design HVAC systems and develop 3D models for multi-discipline projects.
Prepare, interpret, and maintain technical drawings and documentation.
Coordinate document verification/validation with technical and operations teams.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
Utilize engineering tools, modeling software, and automated workflows.

Requirements

Associate degree in HVAC, Fire Protection, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government clearance.
Experience in HVAC design, 3D modeling, and engineering systems.
Proficiency in tools such as Revit, SmartPlant, point cloud modeling, and Trane Trace (or similar).
Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

DOE project experience.
