Sr. Project Controls Specialist - Los Alamos National Laboratory (Full-Time, Los Alamos, NM)

Responsibilities

Support and manage EVMS and project controls systems, including cost, schedule, and performance tracking.
Lead cost estimating, analysis, control, and financial reporting activities.
Oversee schedule development, maintenance, and progress monitoring.
Identify trends, risks, and variances, providing actionable insights to management.
Supervise project controls staff and provide technical direction.
Ensure projects are completed on time and aligned with objectives.
Develop and apply advanced project controls concepts to complex issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government clearance.
Expert knowledge of EVMS, cost engineering, and scheduling practices.
Experience with financial reporting systems and project performance analysis.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in project controls and discipline-specific software tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
Background in engineering or construction project environments.
