Sr. Work Control Planner - Los Alamos National Laboratory (Full-Time, Los Alamos, NM)
Responsibilities
Develop, review, and manage complex work packages for maintenance, modifications, and operations.
Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance in all planning and execution activities.
Create detailed work instructions, material/labor estimates, and system isolation procedures (e.g., LOTO).
Coordinate permits, testing, documentation, training, and records management.
Analyze work scope, prioritize tasks, and track execution using work management systems.
Verify quality standards and support continuous improvement of work control processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain government clearance.
Extensive experience in work control, maintenance planning, and materials management.
Strong knowledge of safety practices, hazard analysis, and LOTO procedures.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and complex documentation.
Proficiency in computerized work management systems.
Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
