System Design Engineer Sodium Processing Systems (Contract)

Were seeking a System Design Engineer for a 12-month full-time contract role. This is a remote opportunity with some travel. This role offers competitive pay ranging from $52-$115/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop system designs for nuclear/industrial processes from initial requirements through final delivery.
- Oversee vendor contributions on mechanical component/system designs specific to Natrium reactors.
- Coordinate analysis reviews including thermal/seismic performance and integrate findings into plant models.
- Manage engineering drawings such as P&IDs and 3D models across multi-disciplinary teams.

Desired Skills:
1. Mechanical/Chemical Expertise: Proven ability in fluid mechanics or structural/tolerance analyses ensures high-quality deliverables under strict industry codes like ASME or ASTM standards.
