Health & Safety Officer - Oak Ridge, TN

Join a team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex. This full-time role focuses on environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) compliance and program development.

Must have an EH&S certification, ex: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with federal and state EH&S regulations
Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, systems, and procedures
Address complex safety issues with innovative, data-driven solutions

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in EH&S or related field + 3+ years of experience, or 10 years of relevant work experience in waste operations
2+ years of safety and health experience and OSHA 30-hour certification
EH&S certification required (e.g., CSP or CIH)
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
