Operations Manager, Waste Services - Oak Ridge, TN

Join a team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex. This full-time role oversees waste management operations, compliance, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Support and manage Waste Management Program operations
Prepare documentation for waste and weapon component handling
Review procedures and support engineering and subcontractor activities
Lead waste characterization efforts and ensure proper waste practices
Support audits/assessments and drive process improvements

Requirements:

Technical degree + 10 years of waste operations experience (or equivalent management experience)
Q Clearance or Top Secret Clearance REQUIRED
Strong knowledge of RCRA, TSCA, DOE Order 435.1, DOT, and Tennessee regulations
Experience managing personnel (including union labor) and multiple projects
U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance
