This is an on-call contract position anticipated to last throughout 2026 and possibly into 2027. Work may be performed remotely within the contiguous United States, with travel as required for business needs.
POSITION SUMMARY: This job provides quality assurance program development and implementation support including: development and evaluation of quality assurance procedures and instructions; Quality assurance oversight activities including internal and external surveys, audits, surveillances, and assessments; and interface with Client organizations performing activities affecting quality.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in supplier qualification surveys, implementation audits, and surveillances; internal quality assurance audits, surveillances, and assessments; may lead or participate in causal analyses.
Supports development, evaluation, and maintenance of client quality assurance program processes including writing instructions, procedures, and other requirement and guidance documents for the quality assurance program.
Review Level 2 and higher procedures for compliance with the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and the Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD).
Serves as a resource by providing guidance, support in the field of nuclear quality assurance to client personnel performing activities affecting quality.
Mentors’ others in sound approaches and standards in Quality Assurance by providing work direction and/or checking work. Able to certify as a Lead Auditor within one (1) year.
